Dawn of Chaos

Inspired through a big-data visualization gone horribly wrong, we bring you our unique interpretation of the generative art concept. The featured work presents variations of pseudo-random points sampled from three different statistical distributions and organized through a set of randomly chosen polygons. Each piece of the digital artwork contains tens of thousands points whose coordinates are uniquely sampled from a pseudo-random number generator initialized with an exclusive seed. The artwork is intended as an homage to the Python programming language and its contribution to our passions: mathematics, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Our “Dawn of Chaos” generative artwork is coded entirely in Python and relies only on the numpy, pandas and plotnine packages as dependencies.

The digital artworks produced within the “Dawn of Chaos” framework make up our first collection of NFTs and are intended to present our unique interpretation of autonomous generative art. Our idea was to combine simple polygon colorings with the inherently chaotic textures arising from randomly sampled points, to obtain uniquely complex pieces of abstract art. With the intend to introduce random components throughout the whole concept, besides sampling the properties randomly, we additionally sample the polygon endpoints, palette associations and single points uniquely for each piece. The final results are ever changing, immensely fascinating and intriguing mathematical patterns.

We hope you will enjoy!
